Son of Isaiah Borden and Mercy Read, Stephen married Prudence Brightman.
While I know little of this Stephen, so far, I do know that the Brightman family was another founding family of the area.
While there are no pictures of Stephen and Prudence, there are paintings of her parents, Pardon and Ruth (Harrison) Brightman.
These paintings are in the possession of Susan Pineau and I thank her for the opportunity to view and photograph them.
