Nate is my second son, he is married to Erika Johnson and they have one child, Maddox.
Nate graduated from NC State twice, once with a BS in microbiology and then an MS. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University Hebert School of Medicine in May 2009, and is doing a residency in Emergency Medicine. Erika earned a PhD from NC State in Microbiology and teaches at Georgetown University.
Nate always believed he was born to be a baseball player, but will settle for medicine.
