May 16, 2009 Nate graduated from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD. Graduation proceedings and the subsequent Army promotion ceremony, were held at the DAR Constitution Hall - a fitting setting for a 13th generation Borden in America, whose ancestors are veterans of the American Revolution and most every war up to and including Desert Storm. His success is a tribute to his determination, persistence and intelligence ("luck" had no hand in it) and, in no small part, to the support of his wife (the first doctor in the family), and loving son Maddox. The rest of us will take some credit too, if only to have served as bad examples! (That was my part) All parents hope their kids will "do them proud" - both of mine have.
